30 secound film reflection post

In class R8 Inside and out is our Hurumanu but English and Film plus science are what we focus on. For film studies, we watched Coroline two times over and wrote summary's over it if we needed more clarity on what the movie was about we got to rewatch the movie in our own time the only time we could not watch the movie was when we got put to the test and had to do our last report on the movie. Learning about Coroline and the film technics was a great way to prepare us for what was to come.

What was to come.

We found out that our next step was to make a thirty-second film in the time range of 6 hours. we needed to have completed a plot then recorded our plot and edited the recording to get our thirty-second film.

My group Started with my friends Lily, Abbagle, Kahciar and me but after having some trouble deciding what to do and having our film done our group gained more members to help us, Emily and Lucy. With Help from Emily and Lucy, we decided to do a film about basketball. Abbagle, Lucy, Lily played actors. Kahciar's role was the camera person. Emily's job was the director and I got the job as director's assistant.

I enjoyed Filming a fun film with my friends. Sometimes it could be difficult but it was overall fun and enjoyable educational time.

Making the film I learned it takes patients' technics and a lot of skills. Also having a great team is very important for the whole process.

To have a great 30-second movie you need the perfect camera angles. In my group, our camera angel's we youse, High shot, low angle, close up, point of view, and over the shoulder.

Challenges I faced accepting. The challenge I faced was that I over annualized a learning activity that was meant to be fun. I learned you can still do your best job at your work well still having fun. I also found challenging making a plan and sticking to it.

Next time differently I would have tried a different role we have different partners to see what they would have done.

The changes throughout the movie only happen with little changes till it becomes more 

obvious.

Also the light changes throughout the movie to warm and inviting to dimmer,red and faded till

small spreed lighter darker and last a green natural light that makes the room feel wary and hunted.

This fits into our subject looks can be deceiving because we see the mother as a human with 

button eyes but much more better but she changes to a monster spider.

Circus mouse trumpet dancing jumping may think its magor fast happy playful fun but it's minor to give us a fake sense of happiness and makes us aware. This sound is intention seeking. 

 

(Minor) sound two. It is slow and fast this sound is from the ghost children behind the mirror This sound us scary nerving and unsettling slow but have traces of fast music making us feel lazy suggest and lethargic

- Gives the other world more opportunity. 

- Looks can be deceiving- it is not actually a bad thing.

What's happening Crolines is in the Otherworld sitting down in the kitchen weel her other parents watch her.

 Lighting- Man-made by the lightbulb on the ceiling so it gives a bright yellow,warm feeling- How do I know this? it is night time outside and it is bright and warm inside. This gives Coroline and the audience an inviting and curious feel about the other world.

Disecting

On Tuesday the 23 of June, I had the opportunity to detect the heart of a pig.

In science we have been learning about body functions in the last weeks we mainly focused on the heart. We mainly learned but videos photos gifts Quizlet and our teacher teaching us but to really get to know the heart we had to actually cut it open and look inside. The teacher split us into groups three or four, my group was Jasmine, Kahciar, and Jolly-Rose. We got given citing your teachers like success a scalper; tweezers. Everyone put on their gloves all accept me and started to work. Kahciar made the first cut on the side of the heart and around it. we didn't get to see the ventricle because it was removed. I hardly saw much of the heat because I think my group may have accordantly cut the heart wrong. We mainly saw chunks of the heart blood and a little bit of the inside. We ended up just cutting the heart heaps of pieces. The heart feels really weird and gross I highly recommend wearing gloves or else you would be scrubbing your hands clean all day trying to get the yucky stench of your fingers.  That a heart has an inside and there are all sorts of weird things inside of the heart It was really important because It may help my future careers if I would like to be a vet or a scientist. It was fun looking inside of the heart because I got to cut it open and look and feel the inside of the heart and see how it functions being with my friends in my group was mainly most of the fun learning cause I get to learn with them and explorer the hear and look and all the weird thing inside of it.

Linking of angles to impact if angles and movement

Pov-the other mother is dominant-because she looks down on Wybie

the audience feels- powerful and dominant in the other mother's eyes Wybie looks small innocent sad snd venerable.

Directors purpose- To make us feel empathy towards Wybie and makes us question the others mothers intentions-foreshadowing

High angle shot is used with Wybie and the other mouther high angles shot are used effectively for looks can be deceiving. This is demonstrated with a high angle shot using the other mouthers eyes as the perspective she is looking down the front porch at a scared other Wybie. This makes us feel empathy over Wybie makes us feel sorry for Wybie and makes the other mouther powerful. The purpose of this is to make the audience think that the other mother isn't what she seems and that's seen may not be nice at all. Combined with the use of lighting, Wybie is in a warm light but surrounded by darkness, The director has created an atmosphere of cortisone something not right. This reminded the viewer of later science where Coraline is looking up at the other in horror as the other mother throws her into a magical portal in an enclosed room. This showed looks can be deceiving because the other mother isn't as nice as Coraline thought.
