Looks can be deceiving

Things aren't all that it seems. 

Example The beldam/ The other mouther

she seems good and perfects more perfect then caroline real mother but as the story progresses she is shown to be a scary ugly spider That can become noticeable to the audience and caroline.

-Important to story because

It helps the audience understand Caroline's choice between reality and perfection. Perfection isn't what it seems.

Example 2

The other world vs the real world

The other world seems big and filled with other mothers but later on, we see the other world is just a Giant spider-web but the other world is safe and boring. The other world looks happier brighter and filled with more interesting people it is better in every single way an illusion but Coroline choice of going to the real world was because she doesn't want everything perfect well semi-perfect she wants an unperfect safe world.

eXplnation. This was done to make the advance feel weary or develop a source of sense and caution.

                    At the start, the other mother is presented with happy bright colors that make the advance and                        Coroline feel safe but later on, it changes to green and scary.

Your link. This theme is shown through the changes in the other mother and her world as it is relevant to a                     spider web-ready to catch flys and Coroline.

My Name is Tennessee I am a year nine student in New Zealand. This week is an important day for a specific country... the Philippines. In the Philippines, today or tomorrow for them is an Interdependent day. My country celebrates it because there are a whole bunch of different cultures and races in my country so it's important to respect and celebrate their celebrated days and culture.

This week we are learning about the Philipino Lagrange. I find it important to know their language so It shows respect and If you ever travel the world it is important to get to know languages.

In 1896 the Philippine revolutionary began. By 1897 the revolutionary and the Spanish government signed a truce. The pack of Biak-na-Bato needed the Spanish pay the revolutionary $MXN8000,0000 and that the Aguinaldo and the rest of the leaders to go under exile In Hong Kong, April 1998 at the outbreak of the Spanish and American war. Committee Gorge Dewey set sail on the U.S.S Olympia sailed into Manila bay They led the Asiatic Squadron Of the navy. May 1st, 1898 United States defeated the Spanish  In the battle Of Manila bay, The decision of Emilio Agauninaldo decided to return to The Philippines so he can help the American forces defeat the Spaniards. The U.S came upon an agreement that he can transport him back aboard the USS McCulloch. May 19th he arrived at his home of Cavite.

 

Independents day was proclaimed on June 12 1898 Between four to five in the afternoon to Cavite the astral home of General Emilio Aguinaldo 30 kilometers south of Manila. The event was the rolling out of the Philippine flag. Made in Hong Kong by Marcela Agoncilio, Lorenza Agoncilio, and Delfina Herbosa. There was also a performance by Marcha Filipina Magdalo as the national anthem that was made by Julian Felipe and was played by a marching band.

 

The act of the declaration was written by Ambrosio Rianzrares Bautista in Spanish this piece of paper was signed by 98 people alongside them in the US army who were witnesses to this event.  The final paragraph states that there was a stranger/foreigner who attended the proceedings. His name was Mr. Johnson who attended most of the proceedings and despite his military background, he had no reason or role to be in the Philippines. 

 

The Philippine flag can come across different meanings depending on the way the flag is angled. The blue stripe on the philippine flag symbolizes justice and patriotism, red means valor and blood split for freedom and independence. The three stars represent the three main areas in the Philippines and the big star says independence and the eight rays on the star mean the eight provinces that led the Philippines uprising from the Spanish.

 

The Philippines normally on their Independence day do what most people do on a National Holiday. They can celebrate by celebrating festivals or cooking a giant feast with their national foods. They can eat chicken marinated with soy sauce and vinegar and all types of seasonings or cook a whole pig with rice. If they would like they can have chicken soup with leaves and vegetables.

I remember Coroline did not like her life at first and was very bored of it2.Coroline goes into the other world and meets her other mother/Baldam3.The other mouther becomes evil and ask coroline to soe her eyes 4. Coroline plays a game to get her parents back and free the lost souls with the help of Miss spink& Miss Forcible,the cat,Wybey 5. Coroline Frees the lost souls and gets her parents back after trapping the other mother and throuring away the key.

What is Arbor day?

What is Arbor day this question has been circleing around my head since first period this moring when the teachers asked us. Why is it even importent to our community and New Zelands evioment? and what are some ways Hornby High School can do to benift this pitcullar day?

 According to my Reacherch Arbor day is a an day where individuals or a group of people are encordged to go out to the evioment to spend some time to plant tress. Most country sees this day as an holiday. Depending on climate change sometimes the dates change to impact the trees lifes and have a better furture. This helps the tress to become sustainable.

 Why is it impotent to Hornby coummnity? In my opinon it is impotent to have this day because It makes our furture an future that I can look forward to A sustainble furture where we can be more happier and eviomentaly friendly. It also Teach little ones to become more sustainable it makes new zeland an even more buerful country and it impacts Our earth and makes it more healthy. What can

Hornby high school do to beniffit this day? We can plant tress around the feild and plant native tress To incress the population of tress in New Zealand and it can corse an impact of native birds to return to Hornby grounds.

After writting this post My class and more classes went outside to plant a tree or help our tree from the previous year become more healthy it was hard to remember which tree I planted but I think I found it. There was alot off weeds and dead plants around it so some student took care of that. I found myself upset once I learnt there had been cats that used this area for an giant kitty litter box. I wish our trees will last through the winter so It can become big and strong. You must remember to where gloves when you are out gardening.
