30 secound film reflection post

In class R8 Inside and out is our Hurumanu but English and Film plus science are what we focus on. For film studies, we watched Coroline two times over and wrote summary's over it if we needed more clarity on what the movie was about we got to rewatch the movie in our own time the only time we could not watch the movie was when we got put to the test and had to do our last report on the movie. Learning about Coroline and the film technics was a great way to prepare us for what was to come.

What was to come.

We found out that our next step was to make a thirty-second film in the time range of 6 hours. we needed to have completed a plot then recorded our plot and edited the recording to get our thirty-second film.

My group Started with my friends Lily, Abbagle, Kahciar and me but after having some trouble deciding what to do and having our film done our group gained more members to help us, Emily and Lucy. With Help from Emily and Lucy, we decided to do a film about basketball. Abbagle, Lucy, Lily played actors. Kahciar's role was the camera person. Emily's job was the director and I got the job as director's assistant.

I enjoyed Filming a fun film with my friends. Sometimes it could be difficult but it was overall fun and enjoyable educational time.

Making the film I learned it takes patients' technics and a lot of skills. Also having a great team is very important for the whole process.

To have a great 30-second movie you need the perfect camera angles. In my group, our camera angel's we youse, High shot, low angle, close up, point of view, and over the shoulder.

Challenges I faced accepting. The challenge I faced was that I over annualized a learning activity that was meant to be fun. I learned you can still do your best job at your work well still having fun. I also found challenging making a plan and sticking to it.

Next time differently I would have tried a different role we have different partners to see what they would have done.

Melodrama

In drama for the past few week's we have been learning melodrama and what is it kind of style. Melodrama originated from Victorian times. Melodrama is very dramatic you can tell that it is very dramatic by looking at the way the actor uses there characters body language like when they fall down they don't just fall fast. Some fall gracefully like a feater well another fall with a big thump. My favorite fall out of all is the one that look's like your about to die and take your last breath. One other way of Melodrama be dramatically dramatic is the way people gasp or speak they speak loud with a huge open mouth like they are about to sing at the opera.

The way character is betrayed in Melodrama.

The villains In Melodrama seem to act loud and their inner thought's about there an evil plan become loud thoughts leading them to scream there plan to the audience. The villains are usually played by a male lead what is sexist in my opinion but sometimes Melodrama can be silent so they would you words.

The Hero's  In Melodrama is almost like a prince in a fairytale they are always there to save the day by announcing it which to me is kind of dumb because if I would save someone from a villain I would call they cop's or keep my mouth shut so the villain could not here me. Once again the Hero is portrayed to be savvier who is a man and always delays the women to marry him for saving her.

The Victim In Melodrama is the person who needs saving from the villain and can't help themselves. The role of the Victim almost always goes to the girl. I mean it is great that Women finally get a role in Melodrama but the victim really! Women are perfectly capable of looking after there selfs or Killing a person and they can get away with it. They can save a person's life I mean have you seen a female doctor or cop because I have but this was victorian times I mean even in Victorian time's women are still smart and strong. I guess it was easier for people to not let women shine but instead make them look like hopeless fools. But people are Still making Women look hopeless in Melodrama what is really sad and make me angry I hope the change will come and maybe the woman can be a hero or villain at least make her save herself. At the end of the Melodrama, women have usually married away to the Hero in Melodrama.

Making my decidd dish

Threw out the weeks of cooking we have been planing on what to make for out kind of test on Friday each of us had to come up with an idea of what we would like to make for our stakeholders why you would like to make it for them and the recipe of making your food. I had come up with the idea of making double chocolate chip banana cupcakes. But later I found out you can't find anything one making double chocolate chip cupcakes so I decided it would make it a muffin Instead So I  got ready and done my recipe and then I fell upon another situation we couldn't youse chocolate that ruined the whole recipe you cannot have a double chocolate banana muffin Without chocolate or else It would just be a banana muffin and that would just be like eating banana bread or cake So I restated and came up for a new plan which turned out to be more awesome and meaning dull to me and my stake-holder my mum. I did some thinking and decided I wanted to do cookie or cupcake After having some time doing research one both foods and looking at the types of cookies and cupcakes I decided to go with a cookie because It was much easier to decide and make my food. As I looked into the types of cookies I decided to make Jam drop cookies It meant something to me and my mum. My mum use to make them for me and my sibling when we were younger and for me, that held as a memory but to my mum, it was a time when we were younger and things were much simpler to her so I wanted to give her the cookies to make her happy and to let her know we still are there for her when she is there for us. This definitely one-ups the Reasoning for my double chocolate chip banana cookies. I found a recipe and wanted a week later. A week later I found out that we were going to be put into groups that made me happy because I got some help but I felt sad because I thought that meant I couldn't do my original plan to make my recipe until I heard my name be called. I was a group leader and got to do my own recipe and share with my group that had Kegahn,Lily, Taoa and they can make it with me. The teacher gave us the instructions to write down some jobs On the piece of paper used for our recipe so no-one got left out. So we set off to a table to carry out the teachers instructions. That day it was Only me and Keghan who were there so we had a bit more extra work to do. We gave everyone a task to do to keep them busy. A day after I met Lily in the art class a told her about us being in a group and what we were making she was siked! I couldn't find Taoa but I guess on Friday he would know we were in our group. Friday Everyone was here and that had all agreed to The job arrangements. As we started doing our work We kind of got confused about the rule argument so we decided to trash the job idea and fo out own thing and agree on the thing we would get. As we had all out stuff ready we stated cooking and lining up the cooking trays. We got super confused as we started mixing the cookie do together because It kind of looked like puke So we asked for some help from our trusted teacher and teacher ade Jill's and miss Hindson. They told us we where doing okay and was do it right we just had to work harder to the mic and push the air into our dough. As I inspected Our group I noticed Lily Did a lot of work do I would like to give a special thanks to her. We where almost finished way just needed to make a dent in the cookies and we have the perfect person for the Thumb pressing Lily and taoa added some of the jamo and made the ball shapes with keghan and we placed our cookies in the oven set our timer on for fifteen minutes and started to clean. After 15 minutes of cleaning, we moved one to our blog post and took cookies out of the rest for like five minutes. Five minutes had passed and we where ready I went home and gave it to my mum to taste... She said it was perfect I couldn't advise her to give more constructive criticism but she stayed to her point. So I gave a Taste and decided that I could have made it less chewy. I had fun making my food because I had a group to work with.
