Aim: To make a model atom
Method:
- Choose an atom to make (one between Hydrogen and Neon)
- Work out how many protons, neutrons, and electrons it has.
- Assign protons and neutrons to a particular color bead.
- Get a ball of blue-tac and stick the protons and neutrons to this to make your nucleus
- Cut out an appropriate electron shell and draw on the electrons with vivid
- Connect the nucleus and electrons shells with a piece of string
- Create a label and go above the model so people know what you have created
